Sometimes ya gotta break out the big brush! 

Happy New Print Tuesday! This NPT is brought to you by Richmond Va's iconic skyline! Richmond's skyline seems to be in a state of constant change recently; I can't wait to see what the future will hold for it! An oil painting from 2007, "From the Inside Looking In"  I painted this while exploring color field and deep names for paintings! Of any art, color field paintings are the most likely to generate an "I could do that" comment, but art is about more than just applying colors to canvas. Try, try and try again is my motto when it comes to getting a perfect color match! Mixing colors is easily one of my favorite parts of creating a piece. Its a beautiful marriage between art and science, plus who doesn't love playing with paints!
